Once qualified child care providers receive a cash reimbursement for meals served to children in their care.
● HOW OFTEN DO I RECEIVE REIMBURSEMENT?
Monthly provided you are current with guidelines and submit menus.
● HOW DO I TRACK MEALS & CHILDREN IN CARE?
Mid-State Child Care & Nutrition will provide and train each provider how to maintain menu and sign in/out documentation. You are paid based on how many children you have in care and meals served.
● HOW DO I GET REIMBURSED FOR MEALS I SERVE CHILDREN?
The CACFP is set up to help increase the quality of child care and nutrition. You are reimbursed for taking part in a this professional program. ● AM I REQUIRED TO KEEP MENUS & SIGN IN/OUT SHEETS?
Yes, these records like most business that operate daily must maintain current documents. Menus and sign in/out sheets are daily documents.
● WHAT ARE THE PAY RATES FOR EACH MEAL?

Yeah! Pay rate increase. Tier (pay rate) determination listed on the bottom of child care application.
